Remote Assistant is designed to help developers in providing customers with better help & support over the Internet or LAN. Remote Assistant software is very simlpe to use and has several advantages.
- It requires NO configuration or administration at the remote site and very little configuration on the assistant site.
- It does not require any ports to be opened on your customer's computer and therefore presents no security threat.
- It is totally free for your customers. You can distribute Remote Host software with your application and preconfgure it so, it will know how to connect to your help desk. All your customers will need is internet connection. Below you find a simple code that invokes RemoteHost.exe with the parameters.
- It is very small and is easy to download and install.
- It allows several customers to connect to your computer at the same time.
